A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Description: After attempting an escape from the enemy forces via a faster than light jump you've used nearly all your energy. Unfortunately it looks like the enemy predicted your arrival and has caged you in. With the fuel you have left you can only manage to fire one  shot at a time. How long can you survive?

NOTE: It appears that the macOS version that was submitted by the deadline is not functioning properly. :(   The windows version functions, and if you really want to try it out on macOS, you can clone the source here: https://github.com/AlexFlasch/OneBulletShmup

All that's required is to download Godot (https://godotengine.org/) load the engine up, and import the project by clicking "Import" on the right hand side, and then finding  and selecting the project.godot file inside the OneBulletShmup folder

Controls:

WASD or Arrow Keys for movement

R to restart

Aim and shoot with mouse and left click

Click again to recall your one bullet, it's like a high tech boomerang!

While your one shot is out, it can bounce of one thing (enemy, or wall) the second thing it hits will destroy the bullet, and you'll have to wait a bit longer to fire again.

Tips:

When you recall your shot, it can pierce enemies! Place your shot carefully!

The more enemies you kill with one fire of your gun, the more points you get! The basic enemies are worth 100 points each normally, but getting 3 kills in one shot would get you a total of 600 points for example!

Every time you get 500 points, a scary red ship of a random type will spawn! Those guys take 2 hits to knock out.
