Reap What You Sow

This is an entry for the GMTK 2018 Game Jam!

The theme was <genre> without <mechanic>. Reap What You Sow is a farming game where you can't plant or tend to your crops directly!

How to play:

You've just inherited the family farm, but they didn't leave you any tools... Except for a sword and squirt gun? Kill the seedgulls over the top of the brown farmland and shoot other seedgulls with your squirt gun near the planted seedlings. Once your seedling has been watered twice you can chow down on a wonderful turnip! How many turnips can you collect before the seedgulls get the better of you?

Controls:

Movement: WASD or Arrow Keys

Dash: Space Bar + any movement

Attack: F key or Left Mouse Click

Change Item: Scroll Wheel or 1 and 2 keys

Restart the game: R key
